About US
Nocturnis is a Barony within the Celestial Kingdom of Amtgard, a live-action medieval fantasy organization built around community, sport combat, arts and crafts, and shared tradition. We gather to fight, create, teach, learn, and build friendships through structured events and open participation. Whether you are here for combat, crafting, leadership, or simply to be part of something larger, Nocturnis is designed to be a place where people can belong and contribute.

We are committed to running a welcoming and organized community that values honor, fairness, respect, and personal accountability. We aim to maintain an environment where new players feel supported, experienced members feel challenged, and everyone is treated with dignity. Nocturnis promotes accessibility, inclusivity, and safety, and we take seriously the responsibility of creating a space where all participants can engage without intimidation, harassment, or unnecessary barriers.

Our park meets regularly in Austin, Texas, with scheduled practices, kingdom-level events, and community gatherings throughout the year. Participation is open to the public, and newcomers are always welcome—no experience or equipment is required to attend. If you are curious about how to start, what to bring, or how Amtgard works, visit our New Players section for a straightforward introduction and your first steps into the game.
